The West Side and South Goal Are Best for Shade

The north-to-south orientation of the stadium means the sun tracks behind the west side toward the evening. Because of large roof overhangs, you want to look to the west sideline and south goal to avoid intense exposure.

• Sections 225 – 231: This section behind the goal will be your best bet for shade during the early afternoon kickoffs. Selecting these upper south stand seats provides immediate, reliable protection from vertical overhead solar rays regardless of kickoff time.
• Sections 125 – 131: The upper rows of these sections places you safely under the structural roof line, shielding you from direct heat while offering an excellent view of the technical areas.

• Sections 101, 102, & 134 Upper Rows: Choosing the upper rows in these sections in between the club seats W1 – W9 uses the highest point of the stadium structure to place natural stadium shadows over your area.

Late Afternoon and Evening

As an afternoon match shifts toward the final whistle, the massive shadow from the western grandstand extends completely across the natural grass pitch. The entire west side and south end zone sit comfortably in total shade, dropping the local temperature significantly for spectators.
