The West Sideline Is Best For Shade

The northwest-to-southeast orientation of the stadium means the sun tracks behind the home side toward the evening. Because of this, you want to prioritize the west sideline and covered seating.

• Sections 128 – 142: Positioned at the top of the lower bowl on the home sideline, these rows escape the direct midday sun earliest by sitting right below the club level overhang.
• Sections 225 – 245: The highest rows on the club level move into structural shade quickly as the sun crosses behind the stadium rim.
• Sections 326 – 344: Spanning the upper grandstand on the home side, these rows keep the blistering afternoon sun safely at your back rather than directly in your eyes.

Late Afternoon And Evening

As a standard noon kickoff heads into the 4th quarter or a late-afternoon event gets underway, the sun drops low toward the western horizon.

The shadow from the massive western grandstand expands quickly across the playing surface, completely blanketing the Titans sideline and cooling down the entire lower bowl. While the lower rows on the visitor side eventually get ground-up relief as the field shadow stretches across the turf, the highest tiers of the east sideline (Sections 305 – 319) remain trapped in a harsh, face-forward glare right up until sunset.
